MAASNOUCHE
De leden van het Gypsy Jazz Trio Maasnouche delen een passie voor de swingende muziekstijl die ontstond in de jaren 30 door de gitaarvirtuoos Django Reinhardt, Gypsy Jazz. Met Alessio Rooders en Tim Panman op gitaar en Alexander Vocking op contrabas begon hun muzikale samenwerking tijdens de corona pandemie in 2020, waarbij veel muziekevenementen werden afgezegd of verplaatst. Regelmatig kwamen deze drie muzikanten bij elkaar in Het Park van Rotterdam, natuurlijk op gepaste afstand, om met elkaar muziek te maken, en specifiek de Gypsy Jazz. Inmiddels is deze samenwerking uitgegroeid tot een trio met een divers repertoire, van zowel Gypsy Jazz classics als nieuwere werken.

The members of the Gypsy Jazz Trio Maasnouche share a passion for the swinging music style that was created in the 1930s by the guitar virtuoso Django Reinhardt, Gypsy Jazz. With Alessio Rooders and Tim Panman on guitar and Alexander Vocking on double bass, their musical collaboration started during the corona pandemic in 2020, when many music events were canceled or moved. These three musicians regularly came together in Het Park in Rotterdam, of course at an appropriate distance, to make music with each other, and specifically the Gypsy Jazz. In the meantime, this collaboration has grown into a trio with a diverse repertoire, of both Gypsy Jazz classics and newer repertoire.
